The Top 3 Products to Help Stimulate Hair Growth for Eye Brows

Ah, Cara Delevingne. Where would eye brows be without you? Cara's big, beautiful brows have been all over the place for some time now - as they should be, they're magnificent - and they've inspired people to go bold with their brows.

But from years of over plucking, waxing or threading, it’s not as easy as it seems to grow the hair back where we want it. That is why I thought I would talk to you about my top 3 favourite products that I have seen give results in stimulating hair growth in the brows.

Please keep in mind with all of these products consistent use twice a day for 16 weeks plus is needed.

NOTE: With any new product, test a tiny amount behind your ear or on your inner arm to make sure you don’t have a reaction. While they are rare, it’s always better to be safe rather than sorry.

  • Regaine from €50

Regain contains Minodixil which is the only over the counter ingredient clinically proven to prevent further hair loss and regrow hair. This is to be applied to a dry clean skin. Hair shedding and itchiness is normal with this product.

  • Do-Terra Rosemary Oil from €30

This one is my personal favourites; essential oils are a new found love of mine, purely because they work and there are so many amazing things you can do with them.  Rosemary oil rapidly increases hair growth, increases micro circulation which promotes healing, decreases hair loss, and helps hair resist traction.

The best way to use this product is to hold a hot face cloth over your eyebrows, this will open your pores and enable your skin to absorb the product to capacity. Spend 30 seconds massaging the product in a clockwise and anti-clockwise direction - twice a day is ideal.

On a complete side note, it also was used by Greek scholars to enhance their memory!

  • Castor Oil €4

Castor Oil is renowned for being a natural stimulant for hair growth.  It's full of anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties, and its ricinoleic acid helps increase circulation which improves hair growth. The anti-oxidants also help support keratin in the hair which makes the existing hairs stronger. You can apply the same way as the rosemary oil but there's a little catch; the only down fall is that the consistency is very thick and sticky, so it can really only be used before bed.
