Mid-way through a manicure a couple of weeks ago, I noticed that the backs of my therapist's hands were silky smooth ... and completely hairless. It reminded me of a number of friends of mine who shave and wax their arms all the time.
I used to think that was odd - don't we have enough bits to want to keep hair-free without inventing new problem areas, like? - but I'm starting to wonder if I'm the odd one out.
Everywhere I've looked since that manicure, I've seen women with arms and hands as smooth as a baby's behind. I'm not exactly a werewolf myself, now, but nor am I super fair, and I'm beginning to feel paranoid (and a little hysterical) that I look hirsute when every other woman in the whole wide world apart from me is defuzzing her arms. Jesus, they're all probably using depilating cream on their earlobes and waxing the backs of their necks, too! I'm a fecking animal.

Is this another beauty secret that no-one talks about, a bit like Japanese women shaving their faces, or is it just a bit of madness? Do you defuzz anywhere unusual?
