Review: Bumble and Bumble Full Potential Hair Care

For those of you who don't already know Bumble and Bumble, let me give you the quickest of hair-story lessons. They began as a New York salon in 1977, where they styled their way into prominence with a legendary editorial team, strong design ethic, and of course, a line of extraordinary products. Boom.

Hair Potential is their most recent launch, designed and developed for anyone who wants fuller, stronger hair especially those whose hair breaks easily or is thinning. Infused with Bumble and Bumble’s Hair Preserve Blend™, this highly potent and restorative Booster Spray acts like a liquid bandage to help reduce hair loss due to breakage by up to 46%.

But enough with the jargon, does it really work? Well, last night I tried out the shampoo and conditioner. My first impression was that the smell was really fresh, crisp and clean. Taking in both the packaging and smell, I can see how this is a product that could be fitting for both men and women. But we're not sure if we're letting Mr. Beaut near these; they're way too precious.

The shampoo itself is clear, which usually I find is not hydrating enough for my hair, but on this occasion, from the first wash, I actually noticed a difference. I didn't use any styling products to see what the outcome would be, which usually is a disaster for me. But I have to say, my hair was smooth, not frizzy, and slightly fuller than usual.

These products get two thumbs up from me!

  • Bumble & Bumble Full Potential Hair Preserving Shampoo: €33
