It's the time of year where Christmas ads take up pretty much all of TV, however the last few years there's one we have come to really look forward to and that is the guaranteed emotional rollercoaster that is the John Lewis Christmas ad.
This time round it revolves around a little girl staring up at a lonely old man living on the moon with a tear-jerking version of Oasis' 'Half the World Away' playing in the background. And it's pure lovely so it is.
While the below Republic of Telly version, is not. It's feckin' funny though and has given us a much needed chuckle on this grim Monday.
