Rory Cowan cracked during Mrs Brown's Boys live and it was hilarious

Saturday night saw Brendan O'Carroll's Mrs Brown's Boys live show on RTE and BBC in a special simulcast.

The show, which had no end time, was broadcast in front of a live audience of 400 people with and without cue cards or teleprompters. O'Caroll and the troupe of comedy actors have been touring the show for the past year, taking in many parts of the world along the way and, presumably, treading over the same jokes over and again.

Yet, that didn't stop them cracking up as this particular scene involving Rory Cowan, Brendan O'Carroll and a giant feline shows.

Take a look.

Brendan O'Carroll finished out the live episode with a particularly well-received message about comedy in general and the nature of disposability in the world, saying that it, "doesn’t seem like there’s anything you can depend on anymore. Well, let me tell you this. If you ever feel lonely or a bit down, turn on the television and flick to comedy."

"Have yourself a good laugh. From Dad’s Army to Fawlty Towers to Only Fools and Horses. We’ll be there. You can depend on that."
