Well this is a bizarre one, although lest we forget that the lovely Michelle (Kym Marsh) it was a band - remember Hear'Say? - before she joined the cast of Corrie.
Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding will be heading towards the cobbles this summer, and is set to appear in four episodes as a "feisty troublemaker" who goes up against Tracy Barlow. About time someone took on that lady!
Harding said of her role; "I am extremely excited to be joining Coronation Street. As a fan of the show it is a huge honour for me to join the cast. I can't wait to get started!"
