We jumped through hoops and bent over backwards under limbo bars and dodged lasers Entrapment-style (seriously, the security in Penneys HQ is White House level) all in the name of fast fashion today; an invitation to be one of the first to see the new season launch from Penneys is an invitation you don't refuse.
Ladies (sorry, gents; we ignored the lad's section), you are going to have to start saving because a Penneys shopping spree is on the cards. Taking cues from the runway, as usual, the trends will finally begin to shop floors in August. There are frilly tea dresses, colourful suits, Gucci-esque shoes (in Pink! We kind of love them...). And YSL inspired boots. And 'vintage' jumpers. And more. And more. And more!
There are heaps of showstopping pieces, but this is the dress that ALL the fashion editors and bloggers were taking about twenty hours to get just the right photo of.
Clearly, it took us about two seconds. That's what happens when you're so excited about all the new things you're going to buy with your July paycheck. This dress is new season YSL. Everyone will be wearing it to their Christmas parties this year, but we don't care, we will too. In a world of political discord, let's be an army of silver sequin glam bots.
