S/S fashion trends that we are loving at the moment

We are loving the current spring/summer 2019 fashion trends doing the rounds at the moment.

From vintage fashion to divisive pieces, here are our top picks of what this season's fashion trends has to offer.

1. Tie-dye

This 90s fashion trend is coming back in a big way in 2019. It was all over the spring catwalks and is now being showcased by celebs such as Taylor Swift and Gigi Hadid, and we have to say we are here for it. Why not go back to your childhood and create your own tie-dye pieces at home?

2. Shorts

If the recent weather is anything to go by, this summer will be a hot one so shorts are a must-have. The biggest trend for shorts, thanks mainly to Kim Kardashian, are cycling shorts. They were big last year and after featuring on the Fendi, Chanel and Stella McCartney catwalks, and it's cleat cycling shorts are going nowhere this year. They can be a divisive item of clothing but it’s like leggings for hot weather - comfortable and practical. Sure, what’s not to like?

3. Ruching

After being featured on catwalks by designers such as Gucci, this 80s style trend is back this spring and it is so wearable. Whether it is a top, bodycon dress or knitwear jumper, the ruching trend is so flattering on all body shapes.

4. Utilitarian

Think military colours and broiler suits, combats and trench coats. The utilitarian trend was all over Milan Fashion Week and is sure to be big this season. The look is low maintenance and can be worn every day, and it can easily go from day to night just by switching up your shoes and accessories.
