Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream

It smells a bit like something your granny might use, plus Elizabeth Arden doesn't exactly have a ring of cool about it anyway, but buy one tube of this stuff and you'll be sucked in for life.

It's like a miracle balm- it soothes chapped lips, smoothes cuticles, its vitamin E formula banishes small blemishes and it's also great for grazes, as an emergency fix for really dry skin and for about 40 million other things beside.

It's not exactly cheap -  it comes in at around €25 for a 50ml tube - but a little goes a very long way and my tube has lasted me well over a year and a half of daily use so far, with no sign of flagging.
