Estée Lauder Colour Envy Collection Review: Touch of AW Luxury

Estée Lauder Colour Envy Collection Review: Touch of AW Luxury

Are there any of us out there who can resist a beautifully packaged cosmetic product?

There are many on the market today that are so damn pretty but just don’t live up to their name. But not this collection from Estée Lauder. I went to take a look at their AW Colour Envy Collection and I liked 'em both inside and out.

  • Pure Colour Envy Sculpting Eye shadow Palettes

These little beauties are like silk, but they would want to be given the €52 price tag. They glide on effortlessly and the colour combos are work perfectly together. My favourite is 05 Fiery Saffron. It’s that perfect palette of warm neutral brown tones that just compliments every eye colour with no shade you will never use.

With this little combo you have all you need for a Winter smokey eye. A highlighter for underneath the brow or inner corner of the eye, a satin and pearly medium peach tone for the lid, and two gorgeous warm matte deeper browns that are so easy to blend. It’s a winner all round for any woman’s handbag.

  • Pure Colour Envy Sculpting Lipstick

The Colour Envy Collection also brings us a selection of lipsticks, costing €29 each.

The colour intensity and creamy feel of these is great. I can’t wear any of those vamp deep shades without the pigment grabbing onto my dry chapped winter lips, so the creamy texture is a welcome guest in my makeup kit.

There is also a lovely deep mauve shade called Brazen. I don't have this one to swatch but if you are a fan of deep, vampy shades, this one will be right up your gothic alley.

  • Pure Colour Nail Lacquer

They have added to their Pure Colour range and the result is high quality nail polish (€20) that might just last that little bit longer than your usual quick pick from the pharmacy.

As part of this launch don’t forget to check out our earlier post on Estee Lauders Perfectionist Youth Infusing foundation. This one has been my go-to skin fix of late (costing €46 for foundation).

All of these little treasures are available from this month onwards. Have you tried any of these gorgeous Autumn treats?  Share with us in the comments below!
