3 face masks we really rate because they really work

Not all face masks are created equal. Here are three of our all-time favourites.

Face masks are a great addition to your normal skin care routine, especially when you need to give your complexion a boost. They can help top up hydration, zap spots, revitalise a tired complexion and so much more. This year alone we've seen plenty of new launches, with some better than others. But we've selected three of our all time favourites that we really rate, because they really work.

  • Clarins SOS Hydra Mask €38

This hit the market a few months ago (check out the full review here) and has continued to be a firm favourite in Beaut HQ. Miriam is a huge fan, as am I. The reason? Because this does exactly what it says on the tin. After one use you'll see a visible difference in skin's hydration levels, suppleness and over all appearance. Not only that, but the effects will last for a few days at a time, too.

  • Garnier Moisture Bomb Tissue Mask €3.99

Cheap and cheerful, this is a good option for those who want quick results. The lightweight formula soaks into skin to give an immediate hit of hydration. After you've used it, just tissue off any excess and you're good to go, making this ideal for pre-party make-up prep.

  • Dermalogica Multivitamin Power Recovery Mask €47

This has to be one of the best face masks of all time. And FYI, apparently, it's not just us who think so, Victoria Beckham is rumoured to be a fan too. Dermalogica Multivitamin Power Recovery is packed with concentrated vitamins A, C, E and F. All of which work to repair and restore the look of skin (as well as prevent ageing). The replenishing formula is the only one we turn to when we're not just feeling tired, old and stressed - but also looking it.
