Ooh La La! Genuinely blown away by Lancome Alber Elbaz: putting the FUN back into makeup

We gave you a heads up about the new Lancome collaboration and showed you the vid in this post - but nothing prepares you for the wonder of the actual products.  I genuinely gasped with sheer delight when I saw this collection.  Bursting with fun, bubbling over with excitement, so colourful and such a celebration of the freakin JOY of makeup.

Lancome collaborated with Lanvin creative director Alber Elbaz to create this limited edition collection of mascaras, false lashes and eye palettes.

"I spend my time backstage at the Lanvin shows, and when I come out at the end, all I see are people's eyes' says Alber explaining why there's no lippies or blushers in the collection.  Good lad yourself Alber.  So what can we expect to see?

Existing Hypnose mascaras have been kitted out in brand new togs: there's four designs to choose from: Classic, Drama, Doll Eyes and Star

Here are the quite frankly AMAZEBALLS eyeshadow palettes.  The colours are beautifully judged to work together, creating maximum blendability and impact - trust me it will be Love. At. First. Sight.

There are also three single shadows in the collection - BUT JUST LOOK AT THIS False lashes box!

This limited edition collection couldn't be even written about til this weekend and if you don't get any of it I promise you will regret it.  Buried in your heart, when you're an old lady on your deathbed thinking back over your life, there will be one deep and lasting regret.
