Kristen Stewart wears great makeup: here's how to copy it

On Friday we were talking about Kristen's style and the way it has (drastically) evolved in the last few years.  But one thing is for certain: she has great eyeshadow eyes, can look fantastic with a full face of makeup and isn't afraid to experiment - which is absolutely brilliant.  Although a black smokey eye is always her fallback she also experiments with her hair and lip colour.

She’s worked a lot of big bouncy side curls which are a great way to liven up long hair for a night out. Try a product like Moroccan Oil Hair Spray, for rock solid hold that’s still soft and bouncy. To master her textured up-styles, use a volumising powder like Schwarzkopf Got2B Styling Powder.

As for her complexion, gone are the days of her dirty, off-duty look. Her skin is always clear, always glowing and always polished; copy it with something really high quality like Chanel’s Perfection Lumière. Her blush is incredibly subtle but still sculpting, to recreate the look try, MAC Powder Blush in Buff.

While she’s always gone for the smoky eyed look (check out this tutorial for a step by step guide to nail the style), she’s experimenting with heavy liner sweeping out from her lids.   She’s also a fan of using navy instead of black shadow to give the look a fresh twist; this look is fab with both brown and blue eyes.  Try Bobbi Brown Eyeshadow in Navy for a matte texture or Barry M Dazzle Dust in Bright Indigo for a shimmer.

As for her lips, she ranges from soft peachy shades like YSL Rouge Pur Couture in 59 to the positively vampish like MAC Pro Longwear Lipcreme in Dress It Up.  Because Kristen can wear lots of makeup she mixes it up by playing up both eyes and lips - something that's not that easy to achieve.

Tell us, what’s your favourite/least favourite Kristen look?  Or is she someone you would never take inspiration from?
