Have you seen pictures flooding your insta feed of green froth coffee? If you haven't here is a little reminder.

You may have seen or heard of Matcha lattes but are apprehensive to try. You should!

Here's why-

It is like a super charged green tea

Most of us have tried some form of green tea at an attempt to lean toward the healthier lifestyle. But did you know when you brew green tea you are essentially boiling away most of the nutrients. Most of the antioxidants remain unused in the leaves. Matcha is the stone ground tea leaves, unheated to preserve the minerals and antioxidants. Meaning you are getting all of the goodness in that powder.

It is bursting with antioxidants

As antioxidant superfoods are going Matcha is killing it. Antioxidants are incredible important as they prevent molecules in the body from oxidising, which is the main cause of ageing. They are also cancer fighting. One cup of Matcha contain 10 times the amount of antioxidants that green tea does.

It gives you a cleaner hit

Most people drink coffee for the hit of caffeine it gives you. But Matcha actually contains the same amount of caffeine. The big difference is, because of the amino acids in Matcha it gives a slower release caffeine hit and has a calming and relaxing effect. The buzz is must longer lasting and energising too.
