Last year, the majority of female guests on the Golden Globes 2018 red carpet wore black.

It could have been the most boring red carpet ever. Instead, it proved just how versatile black really is. This time last year, the #TimesUp campaign was in full swing and this was one of the most memorable points of the movement. Every empowered celebs showed their allegiance with the campaign that will go down in history as a highlight of 2018.

See the few celebrities who didn't wear black.

Because the stars and their stylists were forced to let their creative juices overflow, knowing that they would be competing with so many other stunning women wearing the shade, there were plenty of showstopping looks. Here are some of the best.
