The 15 best dressed women at the Emmys 18

The 15 best dressed women at the Emmys 18
By Miriam Burke  | Sep 18, 2018

The stars of the small screen made sure the Emmys 18 had the most fun red carpet in a long time.

The Emmy Awards came at us with a bang this year. It's like the stars at the event are as over summer as we are and ready to get their glam on. The Emmys are basically the debs of Hollywood, except presumably the celebs aren't sneaking naggins in their bags and shifting each other on the dancefloor. (We'll wait for the Hollywood version on Bloggers Unveiled to confirm.)

This year, there was no particular trend, although a lot came in white, funnily enough, and after Labour Day! There were plenty of safe choices, but many daring ones, too (we're looking at you Tracee Ellis Ross), but they were all different, and they all seemed to represent the woman wearing it. And this year, everyone looked comfortable. The Emmys 18 had quite a few best dressed ladies, but we've narrowed them down to these 15.

Let us know your thoughts in the comments.

I don't think I've ever seen her look so relaxed, but Scarlett actually looked happy to be there in this sequinned Balmain gown. And look - she's wearing The Shoes

Michelle Dockery

Wearing Carolina Herrara, Michelle Dockery floated around in this gloriously whimsical frock.

Jessica Biel

Another member of the White Tribe, Jessica's Ralph & Russo Couture gown may be my favourite of the night. Just gorgeous.

Tracee Ellis Ross

Black-ish's Tracee Ellis Ross wore the bridesmaid dress of 1980s brides' dreams. Her hot pink Valentino Haute Couture gown was a bona fide showstopper - and we can't help but love this look, including the orange eyeshadow.

Elisabeth Moss

The Handmaid's Tale star Elizabeth Moss put some edge to an otherwise classicly Hollywood look with her mid-length Vera Wang gown, and wearing makeup that is distictly 2018.

Angela Sarafyan

Somebody had to wear a massive ball gown and this year, it was Angela Sarafyan in Christian Siriano.

Vera Wang designed Issa Rae's jumpsuit which joins the ever-growing number of pants-based outfits joining the Best Guest perma-lists.

Keri Russell

The unsung style star Keri Russell, but proved it to anyone who didn't know it already in her Zuhair Murad Couture gown.

Dakota Fanning

This shade of green is not an obvious or common red carpet choice, but Dakota Fanning nailed it with her Dior dress.

Youthful, pretty and edgy, Letita Wright was confident and poised in her Pamella Roland gown.

The second elevated jumpsuit to feature and the second Christian Siriano creation, Tatiana Maslany was one of the most comfortable but stand-out attendees at the Emmys 18.

Heidi Klum

Inspiring brides everywhere, Heidi Klum absolutely wowed in her Emmys gown.

Vanessa Kirby

This will totally divide opinion, but we think Vanessa Kirby killed it in her Tom Ford dress.
