The modern cult classic beauty products that have not reached peak cult status just yet, but they're certainly on the way
Cult classic beauty products. We talk about, and use them a lot here at Beaut.ie. Regular favourites like Mac strobe cream, and Benefit They’re Real get a thumbs up all round. Today, I’m not talking about the long established favourites, though, instead it’s all about the newbies.
Yes, we’re looking ahead to the products waiting in the wings that we’re sure will be getting their stars in the hall of fame very soon. So without further ado, here are some of the modern cult classics that we think deserve a mention.
- Rimmel The Only One Lipsticks €8.99
These purse friendly lippies pack a punch in terms of pigment but also feel lovely to wear. While there are some beautiful nudes in the collection, I can’t help but be drawn to the vibrant One of a Kind. It's a true ruby red that looks as beautiful on, as it does in the tube.
- Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation €34
If this isn’t a cult classic in the making, I don’t know what is. Our beauty editor Aisling fell head over heels for it recently, and she’s not alone. There have been amazing reports flying around the internet and among friends who’ve all said they love the smooth, long-wearing, full coverage finish to this foundation.

- NARS Dual Intensity Blushers €39
Hands down these are my favourite blushers, so much so it’s hard to choose a favourite. Use them wet or dry depending on the finish you prefer, and the texture is feather light, yet packs a serious punch when you need it to. You get two shades in each pan, which you can also mix together. So, it’s basically the same as getting three shades for the price of one. Yay!
- The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer €21.95
Strobing has been the buzzword for quite some time in the beauty world. And, the easiest way to get your strobe on is with this beautiful champagne coloured highlighter. Check any YouTube tutorial or Instagram post and the chances are this will be the product that they can’t live with out. #musthave
- Wet n Wild Brow Kit €3.99
Cheap as chips and it does the trick better than most luxury versions. This little brow kit doesn’t come in the fanciest packaging, but as we know, it’s what is inside that really counts. The two brow shadows are perfectly cool tones for defining brows in a natural way. The wax helps to set them in place.
