Armani Maestro Eraser Concealer; Easy Chic Collection for AW12

Armani Easy Chic Autumn 2012

Yesterday, we broke the news on the latest innovation from Armani Beauty – an entirely new category of make up, launching on September 1st. Want to try it sooner? Well hotfoot it to the Armani counter in Brown Thomas Dublin or Cork from this Saturday, 24th August, for shade matching and a complimentary sample.  Exciting or wha’?! And that excitement’s set to mount, because there’s even more luxe loveliness headed our way.

First up, the Maestro Eraser concealer - the second product in the Fusion range. A new hybrid concealer/skincare/illuminator, this was designed specifically for the eyes but can also be used on blemishes and other imperfections. In the short term, an illuminating agent that Armani are calling ‘moon light’ brightens the eye area and reflects the light.

And in the long term? An active ingredient, haloxyl, claims to visibly improve dark circles after two months use. It works by reducing the level of pigmentation in the skin, boosting the natural elimination systems and improving elasticity and firmness. This costs €32.50, is out in September and will be available in six shades – the one I have is slightly too dark for me, so I’m looking forward to checking out the full range.

Armani Neo Brown Palette

Two new face and eye palettes will be joining it on counter, and they're both stunners. Sophisticated and wearable, they’re housed in a very slick laquered and double tiered palette – black, of course – with a magnetic closure, à la the Rouge Armani lipsticks.

The Neo-Black palette contains a tawny beige blusher on the top tier, perfect for paler skintypes, who could also use it as a contour. The second tier holds three earthy eye shadows: a shimmery beige, a matte olive-y taupe and a charcoal black, also matte. Neo-Brown (pictured)  has a rose blush,  and shimmery taupe, matte purplish brown and deep matte brown shadows. They’re just…yum. Ultra sophisticated, gorgeous creamy textures, and the colours are to die for.  Which is how it should be, for €65.

Easy Chic Rouge D'Armani Lipsticks

The palettes are complemented by three new shades of Rouge d'Armani Lipsticks, €26  - a deep berry (shade 408, below), a beigey nude and a ‘my lips but better’ kinda shade. These feel SO creamy – they’re jammers with lightweight oils that lock in moisture without fading or feathering.

Two new Eyes to Kill Waterproof Eye Pencils round out the range, in Granite Black or Earthen Brown, (€21). These are all out in September and in October, we have some more eyeshadowy goodness headed our way in the shape of 8 quads, the Eyes To Kill 4 Colour Eyeshadow Palettes, with a selection of satin and matte shades in a wide range of colours. We'll have more info on these at a later date, but a heads up - the texture on these is unreal!

So c’mere to me now, if you were to pick just one piece, what would it be? Or is that an unfair question?!

Oh and  psst! If any of the men in your life are on the market for a new scent, send them down to BTs - they're launching the gorgeous Armani Code Ultimate today, ahead of a nationwide launch on September 1st.
