Our Best in Beautie even took place last Wednesday, and we're still recovering. In a good way. Because it took so much time and effort to plan the actual event, our outfits and makeup were afterthoughts - but it's amazing what a quick decision can do. I wore a sequin skirt from Folkster with a black bodysuit from Penneys and heels from Zara. I didn't have time to focus on my makeup, so I found a pink lip shade in my lipstick shoebox to match my shoes. It's from Stila, and it stayed on ALL night.
That's not the lipstick I want to tell you about, though. It's Aisling's. Isn't it the most gorgeous shade of deep red you ever did see?
Of course, it was expertly applied, but I saw it in person and the texture, finish and staying power is absolutely divine. It is the perfect matte; totally Instagram-friendly. And it honestly stayed like that for six hours straight. So, where's it from? Penneys.
