When it's winter, you may need to change up your foundation, but it all adds up
In winter, your skin needs a little bit more protection and hydration as the cold air and central heating can cause dehydration and dryness. A great way of adding a protective layer to your skin is to choose a slightly fuller coverage foundation. The creamy consistency acts as a barrier layer to protect the skin from the cold harsh winds.
One of my favourite winter foundations is Bobby Brown's stick foundation. The consistency is rich, hydrating and creamy with a medium but buildable coverage. The consistency blends well leaving the skin looking fresh and bright. The semi-matte finish leaves a natural finish on the skin with is perfect for winter.
If this price tag is slightly out of your January comfort zone, we have a dupe for you that's just as great.
This is a wonderful substitute for those of you who love a light to medium coverage foundation in a stick form. Its light filtering technology gives your skin an almost airbrushed look. And the best part is that it's so handy to bring with you in your handbag for touch-ups.
