We talked about blush last week and it seems the majority of us beaut.ies are loving the stuff. What can be a bit confusing is picking the right blush brush, especially with so many different types available. So here's a look at a few different types of brush that I like...
In the top left up there is the Ruby & Millie Cheek Brush. Available from Boots branches, this brush is perfect for getting the hang of using a blush brush. The small, rounded head means you can easily apply colour where you want it, while the soft bristles are perfect for blending out colour. And the packaging gives you clear guidance on how to use the brush.
Next up (top right in the picture) is the MAC 187 Duo Fibre brush. This one is actually a good all-rounder, as you can use it to apply foundation and powder too, but it's particularly good for very pigmented blushes, as it gives a nice sheer application of colour. And if you're not near a MAC counter, Ruby & Millie also make a version of this brush.
In the bottom right is a slanted cheek brush. This one is from Shu Uemura (available on Strawberrynet.com), but many brands have similar style brushes. The slanted tip is perfect for defining your cheek bones, as it applies colour very precisely. This type is also good for applying highlighter to the tops of your cheekbones.

And last but not least, if you prefer not to use natural hair brushes, The Body Shop makes good synthetic fibre brushes, which are lovely and soft and are also quite well-priced. Urban Decay also makes a range of synthetic brushes.
