Glittergirl Reports: Take the Day off Cleansing Balm

take the day offI got an e-mail from Glittergirl in which she asked me had I tried Clinique's Take the Day off Cleansing Balm. I had to admit I hadn't - I use the make up remover lotion all the time and find it excellent though. The balm won a Cosmopolitan Beauty Award in 2006, which is a pretty decent seal of approval.

So I asked La Glit if she'd write us up a little piece about it - she knows her stuff, does this lass! This is what she had to say:

"Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm is simply gorgeous. Â When you've been on a night out with the girls and you've 50 coats of war paint on along with a few of mascara, a tube of eyeliner and an entire juicy tube then this is the product for you. Â There is no need for a separate eye make-up remover, this wonder product does it all. Â It's a solid balm that melts with the heat of your hands and the tiniest amount spreads over your whole face. Â Work it into your lashes and you're away with it. Â

Clinique say "Lightweight cleansing balm quickly dissolves stubborn eye and face makeups, including those with sunscreen. Transforms from a solid balm to a silky, fluid oil upon application. Cleans thoroughly, rinses off completely. Non-greasy. Non-drying. For all skin types." Sounds fantabulous and it is.

There is also a Take The Day Off Cleansing Milk available, but this is for drier skins so I haven't tried it, but I'm sure it's just as nice."

Thanks Glittergirl!
