The saviour of many a Hollywood A-lister, Danish skincare guru Ole Henriksen has a line of products and therapies that really perform.
Not a household name here, he should be. His products are rammed full of botanicals, healing ingredients and antioxidants and are, quite frankly, a bit of a wonder. I was recently treated to an Ole Henriksen facial at Galways's Spirit One Spa - the only place in Ireland where his therapies are available - and it was amazing. I'd gone over to Galway with my friend Lisa, and we'd rather burnt the candle at both ends, and wasted a bit of it in the middle too. A surfeit of champagne meant my skin was in ribbons as I swayed towards my treatment on the morning after the night before. Ouch.
This is my kind of facial - suction, skin brushing and extractions are performed using a special machine, and skin is also soothed and treated with delicious-smelling unguents. So theres a pampering element, but it's also really effective, thanks to the machine-based components.
