High pigment glosses are one of this season's biggest makeup trends. We've picked out three formulas that range from budget to luxe.
High pigment glosses are the quickest way to update your makeup bag this summer. From nude tones to red to tangerine, purple and everything in between, high shine reigns supreme for SS18. We've been busy testing out some different formulas and have come up with three new favourites to suit any price bracket.
BareMinerals Gen Nude Patent Lip Lacquer €20
A lipstick and gloss rolled into one, this hydrating formula offers it all. High pigment, high shine and a lasting finish. The 10 shades range from pale to deeper tones with each is designed to make lips look naturally fuller and plumper.
Essence Colour Boost Vinylicious Liquid Lipstick €3.50
These cheap and cheerful glosses really pack a punch in terms of colour pay off. In the collection, there are seven to choose from including the show-stopping red 'Lollipop'. High pigment is combined with an ultra-glossy, glass-like finish you could almost see yourself in.
Lancome L'Absolu Lacquer €30
The L'Absolu Lacquers from Lancome are our most expensive pick, but also the most versatile. The formula contains a combination of oils and water that is incredibly light and non-sticky to wear. One coat gives lips a wash of glossy colour, 2 coats offers more impact and three coats gives maximum impact in terms of both gloss and pigment. Oh, and there are a whopping 30 shades to choose from too.
