Marks & Spencer Ingredients Rosehip & Vitamin E Hand Cream and Body Butter

You may remember that I didn't get on at all at all with my last tube of rosey handcream, but recently  an M&S Ingredients version, €3.50, has been faring a bit better. For starters, it's far less offensive on the ol' olfacatory front - actually, apart from the usual creamy handcream smell, it's damn near scent-free. Containing rosehip oil and Vitamin E, it's a light cream but still feels very hydrating even when first applied, and a little goes a long way. While it takes a while to be absorbed, I wouldn't say it's greasy  but it is long-lasting: even after washing my hands, I could still feel that  they'd been recently moisturised.

There's a body butter, €8, in the range, too, which is a slightly different proposition. A super thick cream that's light pink in colour, it is very, very rich. Definitely one for night-time. It's intensively moisturising and softens skin up a treat, and like the hand cream the effects do last: the day after application, I can still feel the effects of the body butter on my skin.

Great for hides that might not see a regular body moisturiser from one end of the week to the next!
