Not Having a Ball with this Mask

nivea visageI picked up a sachet of Nivea Visage Pampering Honey Mask the last time I was in the supermarket. The sachet costs a couple of quid and has 2 applications in it. Upon reading the label before I put it in my basket, I thought "oooh, this sounds nice" - it contains honey extract, macadamia nut oil (is it just me or does anyone else immediately think of Best in Show when any mention of macadamia nuts is made? No? Oh..) and shea butter.

So when I got home I decided to give it a whirl. I opened one of the sachets and inspected the contents - a thick pale yellow cream with a hint of honey scent. I slapped it on, taking care to avoid lips and eyes, and ambled off to the couch to watch some TV for the 10-15 minutes Nivea recommend you leave it on for.

Almost immediately my skin started to smart. Then it started to sting, quite a lot. It was not pleasant. After a couple of minutes of this, I thought "feck this" and went and washed it off.

So, Nivea Visage Pampering Honey Mask - nicht so gut. Nicht so gut at all! Avoid, unless of course you are a masochist type who likes to inflict pain on yourself.
