As I don't own anything by Laura Mercier, I'd really love to start getting to know her by getting hold of one (or all!) of her Beauty Books, of which there are three. They're designed to build up into a Beauty Library which'll contain everything you need to add colour to your face - one book is dedicated to lips, one to eyes and one to cheeks.
They're gorgeously presented too - each book is covered in vibrant jewel colours & has a hidden magnetic closure. The makeup pans inside each book are decently sized as well, which helps with application.
The Cheek Book will take you effortlessly through the seasons as it contains blushers in Winter Bloom, Orange Blossom, Golden Glow & Bronzing Glow. Likewise the Eye Book contains classic shades you can wear any time - Napa (exclusive to the kit), Morning Dew, Chocolate (exclusive), Violet, Gold Spun (exclusive), Rose, Marina (exclusive), Topaz & Black Ebony Eye Liner. You also get a double ended brush in this kit. Lips are equally well catered for with shades that range from deep reds to pale pinks. You also get a lip brush in this kit.
