We've all heard of health spas, day spas, beauty spas - Ireland is full of spas, wha'? But have you chanced across a dental spa yet? Well, readers, they exist. Smiles Dental Spa is located on our fair island's main street, at 28 O'Connell St, Dublin 1, to be precise. Cork residents can visit the Smiles Clinic, located on Oliver Plunkett St.
Both offer a good range of your usual dental stuff - scale & polish, fillings, all that nasty hurty stuff. The good bit is that they also offer tooth whitening, veneers and invisalign-tooth straightening, which is a method of tooth straightening which works by using a series of invisible, removable and comfortable aligners that no one can tell you're wearing.

Your average dentist doesn't seem to like admitting these procedures exist, much less that they are available here, so it's nice to know cosmetic dental treatments can be obtained in Ireland. No info on prices though, which generally means they'll be V high indeed.
