The Bronzed and the Beautiful

fusion softlightsMuch and all as I love my DuWop Bronzerush, I've been forced to concede that it's just too dark for this time of year, so it's been put into storage until later in the Summer. That might be wishful thinking, I know, but it has left a bronzer shaped hole in my makeup bag. I needed to rectify the situation but everything I looked at, I just didn't like.

Ah, but Dublin Airport came to the rescue once again. En route to Kerry last week I took a little gander at the Smashbox display and immediately their Fusion Soft Lights bronzer leaped out and cried "buy MEEE" - so I did. I like to be obliging.

It looked a bit lonely though, all on its owneo, so I befriended it with some of Smashbox's famous Photo Finish primer. I love both products, but as this is a post about bronzer, sure I'll tell you a bit more about Fusion Soft Lights.

It's a Shimmer Brick-esque compact with five stripes of colour - swirl your brush inside, tap off the excess, and you're left with a silky, slightly shimmery wash of colour that I am really pleased with.

You can get it in Arnotts, the Airport or a good few other stockists nationwide, and mine cost me about €22 - but that was with 21% off int'airport, so it'll be a few quid dearer anywhere else.
