The Quest For Sleek Hair Continues

honey conditionerMy hair is so thick it seems to have 2 layers - much like a huskie, or norwegian forest cat. The top layer is smooth, but the underlayer is a horrible frizzbomb. It's really depressing! I know I should just go and get some Kerastase but I do stubbornly cling to the idea that there has to be something out there that's decently priced and effective.

This possibly misguided notion has led me to purchase an over-whelming variety of conditioners and masques and various quenchy drenchy potions. One of the ones I've tried recently was the Body Shop's Honey Moisturising Conditioner for dry/damaged/chemically treated hair. Well, I thought, this ought to do the trick, and honey - yum yum.

So off I went, and gave it a whirl. There was a weird smell - a really weird smell. A smell I don't like - BANANA!! Urgh! I hate bananas! They smell like sick! With face screwed up in distaste, I soldiered on, left the conditioner on for half an hour (this one or two minutes routine is hilarious - my hair laughs in its face) and then washed it out.

The results? Yeah, it worked - not amazingly well, but it did smooth my frizz down so if you've slightly less troublesome hair than me, then I reckon it'd do a deadly job.
