Outfit under €50: Chic French style for next to nowt

The sales are over and it's getting a little harder to find stuff for cheapsies - thankfully I have my bargain goggles on to help you all find something pretty for little to no moolah. I like simple, no fuss daywear, so my latest outfit under €50 is another cool and cute choice for the daytime. Here we go!

I decided to base my outfit around this dress, which has been sitting in my Saved Items on ASOS for months now. It's by the brand Pop Boutique, who also do a great line in 60s-style shift dresses with the cutest Peter Pan collars. But enough slobbering over those - look at this dress, which is the ultimate in Parisian chic for the tiny price of €21.47. This is going straight into my shopping basket next payday.

Pair the dress with black opaques and black ballet flats (like these ones from New Look, €10) for a simple and comfy look for daytime. I would also add a chunky gold chain like this one from River Island (€10) - you can get the same style for a fiver in Penneys, but the gold came off mine very quickly so I'm plumping for the RI one instead.

We still have a tenner left over, so top it off with a red lip - Rimmel's Kate Moss lipsticks are great quality and cheap as chips at €7, so I'd plump for it in 01 (red - swatched here) or 08 (nude pink, for a toned down lip) if you're looking for a fast makeup fix. Add some classic winged liner (I love Essence liquid liner, about €1.50 if my memory serves) and you're ready to go, with 3c to spare. Throw it in the piggy bank for a rainy day.

If you're mad enough, you can even add a baguette for some serious French vibes. Or just the red lip. Less is more.
