L'Oreal Collection Privee Colour Riche Nude Couture Lipsticks: Celebrity Inspired Ultra Wearable Shades

A confession: I'm not usually a lipstick person.  While the rest of you makeup junkies are raving about the latest red shade or fainting over formulations I'm normally happy with my lipgloss.  I think it comes from years of hating my teeth and not wanting to draw attention to them (in fact I hated them so much I got veneers).

But you know what?  I LOVE this collection.

I love it so much I've been wearing the four shades I got my greedy paws on since they arrived.  Not only do they LOOK gorgeous in their swit swoo black and gold rubberised packaging - they feel really lovely.

Apparently these six nude shades are celebrity inspired (with corresponding nail polishes due out soon too, you can see them peeping behind the lipsticks in the top pic).

The celeb shizzle is actually quite clever when you think of it: the celebs are all different ages and ethnicities so it demonstrates that there's a shade in this collection for everyone.

Gleamy MacGleam.  They go on like a dream.  I'm a poet and I didn't know it.

But seriously there's a subtle sheen and a long lasting moisturising feeling that's fantastic.  In fact these lipsticks look 'n' feel like they could be double the price - they're €11.99/£8.16).  They're surprisingly creamy, non drying and you'll want to keep reapplying - just for the hell of it.

When I was taking this photo I couldn't stop laughing because the top shade reminded me of nothing less than a dogs er lipstick.  So forgive me if it's a bit shaky.

Perfect for daytime, crying out to be worn to work and ideal for pairing with a smokey eye.  They're limited edition and you will be KICKING yourself if you don't get to own one of these pieces of deliciousness.
