Mammies of the world, brace yourselves! For there is a trend that is here to stay, and it is one that is guaranteed to strike fear into your worried hearts and a cold into your kidneys.
The crop top was everywhere on the SS14 catwalk and this is trickling down to the high street designs. Bandeaus, bra tops and fluffy cropped jumpers will all appear on the rails in a store near you.
The toned-tummies brigade may wear the crop tops with abs-olute pride, pairing with an A-line skirt or tapered high-waisted trousers to balance the look.
And the rest of us can pop a thin layer underneath to protect our modesty (and kidneys). Or layer under a sheer blouse to keep it flirty without revealing all.
