Delightful Beauty Trend: Snake Massages

Delightful Beauty Trend: Snake Massages
By Beaut.ie  | Oct 6, 2008

All things serpentine have been big in beauty recently: we've had synthesised snake venom in Planet Skincare and Dianne Brill creams, and makeup-wise, Giorgio Armani rocked out a limited edition python palette this autumn as well. But so far, no one has suggested that getting up close and personal with one of our slithery friends is essential in the quest for ultimate beauty.

Oh hang about. I spoke too soon.  At Ada Barak's Carnivorous Plant Farm in Israel - yes, carnivorous plants - you can also avail of the services of her non-venomous snakes, who'll writhe and slither over your body for about €58.  Sore back? It's a perfect opportunity to get some Snakes on a Pain! (sorry, couldn't resist).

Apparently the movement of the slithery ones can be deeply relaxing and comforting, but that's only if you're not scared of them, of course. If you're phobic, then I'd imagine this is tantamount to torture.

The snake massage: NOT coming to a salon near you soon, we fervently hope.
