Jemma Kidd Make Up School Gloss

Jemma Kidd Make Up School Gloss

I've been reading good things about makeup artist (and sister of Jodie) Jemma Kidd's relatively new beauty brand. it's called Make Up School and it's a reasonably priced brand where quality isn't compromised.

First things first - the packaging is lovely. Natasha Law-esque illustrations are used on the boxes which immediately appeals to me. The packaging of the items themselves uses a lot of rubberised black and chunky clear plastic. Each product comes with a little leaflet giving you Jemma's own advice on how best to use it, and other applications you could put it to - which is a really nice touch. This is a family affair too - Jodie is the model used on the site, and she looks spectacular.

Now, what about the products themselves? I've only tried a gloss so far and I think, much in the way you can judge a man by his shoes, you can judge a beauty brand by the quality of their gloss. And this brand scores. It scores HIGH - gloss, colour, longevity, subtle sparkle - all this for under €15? I'll have a few more, please!

The gloss range, which is called Hi-Shine, comes in 14 shades. The range also includes products for eyes, face, cheeks and nails, and there's also a really good, and decently priced range of brushes and tools like pencil parers, mirrors and sponges.
