Most Talked About Beauty Looks of the Week

There is nothing I like more than curling up on a Sunday night with a huge mug of coffee (yes, I can drink coffee at any hour and still fall asleep such is my coffee addiction problem love) and a stack of magazines and photo galleries to catch up on the most talked about looks of the week in both beauty and fashion.

Some of them I love, some of them I do not love and some of them make me wonder if these people live with someone who loves them and who would suggest that they did not go outside like that (my mother has excelled in this love requirement).

So who has been on the beauty chatter telegraph this week?

Cartia Mallan is an Australian vlogger who has got some serious style. Having lived there for a few years, I always keep my ears open to hear what's happening on the Aussie beauty grapevine and this girl is making waves. Both in the industry and in her hair. Just when I thought I was sick of the tonged curls, this look dragged me right back in.

And if you are looking for some pink lip inspiration, step forward Spansih actress Blanca Suarez. The nude lip may be more of a spring/summer staple, while red is serious Christmas territory. Lucy Mecklenburgh is currently channeling Kendall Jenner with her uber straight, uber shiny blunt cut and full lashes.

And while you might not recognise the smiling face of Rachel Platten, when I tell you she is the voice behind 'Fight Song', then you'll know exactly who she is. And I'm loving her take on a really simple, natural look. The lesson here is that when in doubt, groomed eyebrows and big hair will always win the style stakes.
