Introducing Peachy, the Irish skincare brand designed with sensitive skin in mind

Have you heard of Peachy natural skincare?

Let us introduce you to this all-natural skincare brand, the brainchild of an enterprising Irish woman.

The first and most important thing to know is that the range is aimed at people with very sensitive skin. All the products are natural and free from chemicals. There are no synthetic preservatives, sodium lauryl sulphates (SLS), parabens, phthalates. Most importantly they do not contain any form of alcohol. We like - immediately!

Peachy is the creation of a young mum and biomedical chemist called Sinead, who decided to create her own skincare range after suffering for years with her own sensitive skin. The products contain only the most natural of ingredients: organic butters including organic shea nut butter, organic coconut oil, organic cocoa butter, natural oils and therapeutic grade essential oils. Yum!

The range includes body scrubs that make having a shower a different experience, luxurious body butter, anti-ageing face serums and creams. Our absolute favourite, though, is the coconut and lime body scrub €15. Seriously - you will struggle to stop yourself eating some because it smells that good.

Last year Peachy branched out and launched a mother and baby range too. It has products for expectant mummies and for new little babies. You may rest assured that only the most harmless ingredients are being absorbed into both yours and your baby's body.

They also stock Jo Brown solid perfume. Fabulous for those of us who don't like putting on perfume (that can actually bleach your skin).

Everything is pocket-friendly, too. The body butters and scrubs are all under 20 quid.

What are your thoughts on natural skincare versus synthetic?
