Stained Nails from Dark Polish?

Stained Nails from Dark Polish?

While dark glossy polishes all the rage at the moment, they have a drawback - they can stain nails and leave them looking all yellow and sick looking once you've removed the colour.

If that's happened to you, Opal London (my favourite supplier of Marcel Marceau/Minnie Mouse moisturising gloves) have the answer - they've just launched nail whitening tablets. You drop one tablet into a small bowl of warm water (or 2 tablets into a footbath) and soak your piggies or pinkies for five minutes. The tablets contain sodium perborate which whitens nails, as well as antiseptic tea tree oil and lemon oil to soften the cuticles. Look out for them in chemists soon!

And next time, use an undercoat beneath the dark polish - that way you'll protect your nails from staining.
