Why we do not rate this new eyeliner one bit

Why we do not rate this new eyeliner one bit

Every now and then I come across a product that is marketed in one way and when I go to try it out, I'm sadly disappointed. I always have high hopes for it as a makeup lover and self-proclaimed addict, so I'm coming from a place of hope and excitement.

This week I was trying out L'Oreal Paris Superliner Black 'N Sculpt €10.75.

The concept behind it is great; apparently you can, "line your eyes from any angle". It's the new spherical tip that is supposed to help define and contour your eyes from any which way.

For me, it just made it almost impossible to get a fine line let alone a wing. I'm doing liner for fourteen years at this stage so I can only imagine how hard it is for those who find liner a challenge in general.

Don't get me wrong, this is not a dig at L'Oreal, I'm usually a big fan; their studio secrets magic perfecting base is a fantastic product.

Marker type liners aren't a favourite of mine anyway because they dry out way too fast so value for money is non-existent. If you are applying it over eyeshadow you never get a good colour payoff and the shadow ends up sticking to the nib and clogging up the pen.

My suggestion? Stick with your pot of gel and a good liner brush.

What are your thoughts on felt tip liner pens?
