Bobbi Brown Tube Tints: summer lip gloss is here

Sometimes differentiating between lipgloss shades reminds me of those paint charts in Woodies or B&Q.  A thousand shades of white.  A thousand different names.  But it's only the tiny subtle differences between them that make one work and other force you to throw down your paint roller in disgust

And so it is with lipstick and lipgloss.  Pink Cloud of course stands on its own and is very definitely the rebel of the pack and although the three remaining shades are variations on nude one of them was a firm favourite of mine.

I promised you a closer look at the Tube Tints (€22) from the Nude Beach Collection earlier and here's the obligatory hairy armed blogger shot with the four shades on my frighteningly white arm.

R-L: Bronzed Pink; Naked; Pink Cloud; Air Kiss

My personal favourite is the first one on the right - Bronzed Pink.  It's got that little touch of shimmer that really lifts a gloss and makes it perfect for summer.  More gold than pink, I love the sparkle.  Air Kiss is the lightest of the lot and won't do much colourwise - which makes it perfect for popping on over a lip colour without fighting with it - or for giving you the no lipstick look (just suspiciously juicy lips).  Naked and Pink Cloud are the most pigmented of the lot which means you can wear them on their own for a tiny bit of colour - but they're still quite sheer.

Slightly sticky as all the best lipglosses are, these are ones to be applied liberally and will work well with a bronzer to give you that lighter summer makeup look.
