Bourjois So Laque Ultrashine Paris Show Time Collection

These candy creme colours form the Paris Show Time collection and are part of the very strong SS11 products coming from Bourjois. Landing in June, they pretty much manage to hit most summer nail trends right on the head:

You see where I'm going with this: these are clearly gonna be a no-brainer of a purchase. Good price too, at €7.99 a bottle.

I like So Laques already - really easy to use, the brush generally does each nail - barring the thumb - with one swipe and they come in tons of glossy shades.  So, what's what, shade-wise? From left to right above we have Violet Couture, Orange Creation, Magenta Show, Lime Catwalk, Bleu Model, Rouge Fashionista and Jaune Trendy.

I've been giving Lime Catwalk a go this week. LOVE. AM A FAN.  This is a very rubbish BlackBerry pic and I've only got two hastily-applied thin coats on - this is my second round with this particular colour and you definitely need three for optimum results. But it's bright, it's fun, and it's a brilliant way to instantly access this season's colour-blocking fashion trend for very little monetary outlay. Plus polish is so commitment-free it's not funny - decide you don't like it and all you need to do is take it back off with a lick of remover.

So enamoured am I of this seasons yellows and acid brights - Dior's Aloha is another I'm drooling over - that when I saw those round rings above in H&M last week I bought them purely to contrast with the colour-blocked talons I'm intending to wear all summer long. €4.99 each (or thereabouts), these also come in white and orange and I reckon I may pick them up too - I'm thinking they'll go well with reds and blues. Sure it'd be handy to have them on hand, eh?

The other ring is a Scott Wilson for ASOS ring I bought last year, which is no longer available, by the way.

H&M rings

And here they are again - looking good for under a fiver, eh? What nail shades would you wear these rings with?
