Much like Aphrodite and The Devil Wears Prada, this 'cinema review' is mostly to do with Eva Green's makeup. (crappy pic over there, will replace with a better one)
How could they have known when they filmed this that they'd just be so bang on trend? Her makeup is so now it's unbelievable - pale matte skin, smoky eyes to the hilt and red red lips. In particular I was taken with her look during the casino scenes - she looks gorgeous. Lots of black pencil lining the eyes and lashings and lashings of an ever so slightly sparkly navy shadow. I spent much of this film working out how to go about recreating her look.
Your makeup, should you choose to accept it, will be black liner (I'd choose a MAC one) , black mascara - shaken ladies, not stirred (I recommed Lancome Flextencils) and a richly pigmented shadow like NARS Night Flight - and of course your lipstick needs to be Chanel's Rouge Noir. No other substitute will be accepted.

Oh, and Daniel Craig wasn't half bad neither.
