Maybelline Great Lash: the verdict is in

maybelline great lash

When I posted about the Maybelline Great Lash 3-week trial a few weeks back, not many of you were too impressed with the notion that opening a new tube of the stuff and then leaving it three weeks before using might be the key to an improved experience. The general consensus seemed to be that even if it did improve the mascara, it was a bit of a fuss when you could just go and buy one you liked enough from the start instead.

And I have to say, I agree. But on the off-chance that Great Lash really would be great after the three week breathing period, I waited. Three weeks passed, during which I opened my last stockpiled tube of Full'n'Soft and once again lamented the fact that it has so cruelly been taken away from us. The moment of reckoning arrived and I re-opened my tube of Great Lash and applied it with bated breath.

I don't think you'll be too surprised to hear that there was no big change. Yes it was slightly drier to apply, but when I sneezed three minutes after applying it, I still got a whole host of black smudges under my eyes - usually I'd be in the safe zone at that point with superior mascaras. And even after using an eyelash curler, Great Lash pulled my lashes out of the nice sweep I'd created and into blah territory.

So there you go - a bit of an underwhelming experience to say the least, but at least we know!
