NEW! Sneak Swatch: Benefit's Majorette Blush is Twirling All Our Batons

Yesterday we took a look at the first of two launches from Benefit this September. And today we are back to bring you the swatchy scoop on the second!

Now, I recently wrote about my loyalty to powdered products, be it bronzer or blusher. But today, after giving Benefit's new Majorette cream blusher a whirl, I'm eating my words. This stuff is the bees knees, and here's why.

Not only is it packaged so well you could eat it, the pink-peach colour itself will work wonders to warm up almost any skin tone, whether you're a pale beauty or rocking a sunkissed glow.

It's light and natural enough so that you don't feel as though you're dipping into Joan River's make-up bag (what does she use?!) but you can build it up to your desired depth of colour.

I came into work this morning looking a little worse for wear, and a quick smear of this on the apples of your cheeks - being sure to blend it nicely so there's no nasty edges - it just gave me the lease of life I was lacking.

If that wasn't enough, it also sets sort of like a powder so you're not left with a shiny, wet looking face. It's also fragranced (not something I usually like but I'm willing to overlook it just this once) with the scent of pom-pom peach (whatever that is) and pomegranate. Lovely!

If you're after a quick and easy instant lift to enhance your natural day time look, Majorette is the man for the job. And if the peachy hue isn't your choice, Benefit are also marketing this as a booster primer to layer under another blush to give it a warming colour shot and to increase longevity. That sounds a bit to fiddley for me, but I am sold on the colour of this on its own.

The bad news is the price, it'll set you back €33.50 and is on counters from August 30th 2014. It ain't cheap but by the looks of things, you'll get a lot of wear out of one tub and the colour is beautiful, so I'm considering it a worthy investment!

What do you think of Benefit double launch? Are you tempted by Majorette Blush? Do you think it's worth the price tag?
