As Aphrodite pointed out last week, bright eyes were seen again on Autumn Winter catwalks, notably at Derek Lam, where yellow was given a modern re-working. Paired with sleek updos and mulberry lips, it looked foxy. Not something you'd get away with down the pub of a Saturday, no, but as a point of inspiration, I loved it.
MAC are a brand who are great for brights, but not everyone lives near an outlet. Vita Liberata, a Northern Irish brand, have a range of solo shadows that would do the trick nicely, though. While they don't have anything near the range and variety of MAC, there are enough on-trend brights to get me excited. At €15 a pop, they won't break the bank, either.
