Weleda Skin Food: One purse-friendly little tube, one million uses for winter

We use it all year round but Weleda Skin Food really comes into its own during winter time.

Weleda Skin Food is one of our all-time favourite beauty products here at Beaut HQ. And what's not to like? From the fuss-free packaging to the beautiful scent and rich formula (which really does feel like a feast for your skin), it's a multi-purpose cream like no other. I included it in a list of budget products the beauty industry pros love, and for good reason.

Weleda Skin Food

During winter, it's so easy for our skin to become dry and irritated. Which is when we tend to reach for this. Weleda Skin Food can be used on body and face to soothe and repair rough patches. It works wonders on dry heels and elbows but works equally as well on hands and cuticles.

If you have a cold or flu, Skin Food is ideal for hydrating around your nose where it gets dry from using tissues (and makes your foundation flaky and horrible). Depending on your skin type, it can work really well as an all over face mask or night cream to hydrate and brighten lacklustre skin. From a more cosmetic point of view, it works beautifully as a primer underneath makeup, giving it a dewy glow that'd rival any luxe primer.

Weleda Skin Food is available online with Holland and Barrett (€13.49 for 75ml) and in selected pharmacies nationwide now.
