Zen and the art of traffic calming: Oscar Dehn on the move

I felt as though I was in Dantes Seventh Circle of Hell.

Spending all of eternity trapped in my car edging towards work. The word crawl didn't even enter the equation.

I'm talking about the M50 roadworks of course. And when they headed down the N4 and reached Lucan I felt as though there was no hope. I tried leaving for work earlier. I tried leaving for work later. Need I tell you, nothing works. But if you're stuck in the same gridlock you'll know that already.

Phew! I feel better for getting that off my chest! Anyway I've found a few things that make the whole experience more bearable. Aromatherapy things mostly. The best and newest one I've found is the Oscar Dehn travel survival system, On The Move.

A stylish little kit, this contains two bottles of delicous aromatic oil blends - Vitality and Calm, plus a refreshing eye gel and mask. I use the Vitality in the car on the pulse points, and behind ears. Then I use the Calm when I finally get into work and it helps me to have a little snooze in the break room. Only joking boss!

I'd say this kit is best targeted at those being conveyed on their travels - on trains, planes and the like. The presence of the gel eyemask, much as it blotted out the horrors of the roadworks, is probably not at its relaxing best when one is driving the car.
