Posh Spice Closet Clearout on The Outnet: Would You Buy VB's Second Hand Gear (Zig a Zag ah)?

Posh Spice was always my favourite Spice Girl.

Her structured poses in the video for Wannabe, the a-symmetrical bob, the PVC outfits - all of these made Victoria Adams my pop idol. She had silky hair to make you want to bathe your locks in a sea of Pantene and I think she had some of the best lines in the Spice Girls songs; "you're swelling out in the wrong direction" from 'Who Do You Think Are' being my personal favourite (nope, I've no idea what it means either). And there's even a You Tube video dedicated to her solo bits if you feel like having a bit of posh karaoke.

But now Mrs. Beckham is more than just a Spice Girl, she's a phenomenon thanks to her marriage to the tattooed one and her incredibly successful career as a designer. VB has found her niche in fashion and I have never been able to find fault in her collections. Now, some of her earlier Spice outfits were plain dodgy but sure we all went through a difficult 90s fashion stage. Just not, you know, on stage.

And now VB has gone and announced something even more amazing. As you can imagine, she's got a pretty impressive wardrobe (I haven't seen it like, but I envisage a mini Beckingham Palace full of Spice Girl costumes that she secretly dresses up in every now and again). As all girls need to do, VB is doing a closet clear out and is selling her unwanted pieces on The Outnet, with all the sales going towards a great charity, Mother 2 Mothers which supports Mums who are HIV positive.

Victoria has selected 600 pieces which will go on sale on the Outnet from August 20th, and you can register to be in with a chance to shop this incredible collection. On the website, she has been showcasing just some of the pieces included in the sale such as the yellow Roberto Cavalli dresses worn at the pre-world cup party in 2006 and and green satin number she wore to the SS08 Chanel show in Paris.

Or what about the leather and corset phase? Remember, 'Out of Your Mind' with Dane Bowers and the insane dance moves that went with it? Or the pixie cut and her love of the Galaxy dress by Roland Mouret when she moved to LA?These are undoubtedly some of the most photographed dresses in the globe and you have a chance to own one (the dress, not Dane Bowers).

The leather phase and Dane Bowers, remember him? The leather phase and Dane Bowers, remember him?

As well as the main auction, ten pieces will be added to a "Going, Going, Gone" sale in a reverse style auction from August 20th to 24th. These pieces have been valued by Christies so you can imagine what they will fetch! This extra sale is a great effort to raise even more funds for a charity that is particularly special to Victoria. So if you want in on the VB action, you can register your interest in the sale on The Outnet.
