I am happy to report that the tea dress is back in fashion.
The tea dress, along with the wrap, is one of those pieces you know will suit you. How can it not? It's pretty, but can be rocked up with boots. It's feminine, but some punky eye makeup and a topknot will toughen it up. It also suits all shapes and sizes and can be worn to work, to brunch, to the beach and out, with the right accessories.
My current style crush Jeanne Demas, who is essentially the French Alexa Chung, has been gallivanting all over Paris in an array of tea dresses. It is THE dress of the summer, and I'm getting one in every print and colour.

If you only buy one this summer, you can't go wrong with this red number from H&M. The wrap style suits everyone, and the red and white dot pattern is colourful without being too loud. It's a lovely holiday sundress, but you'll wear it at home too. Oh, and it's wonderfully purse-friendly.
