Carrie Fisher's mother Debbie Reynolds dies

It has been reported tonight that Debbie Reynolds, the mother of Carrie Fisher, who died on December 27th, has passed away.

For the last two days, Debbie Reynolds was known as Carrie Fisher's mother, but in the most unfortunate of circumstances, Debbie Reynolds has joined her daugher in being another legend who passed in 2017.

The Daily Mail report that Reynold's, who has 84, was rushed to hospital as she was planning her daughters funeral. She died a few hours later.

On Tuesday, a statement was issued regarding Carrie's death. Reynold's posted a statement about her daughter's death yesterday, saying, "Thank you to everyone who has embraced the gifts and talents of my beloved and amazing daughter. I am grateful for your thoughts and prayers that are now guiding her to her next stop."

Tonight, her son, Todd Fisher, Carrie's brother, told Variety, "She's now with Carrie and we're all heartbroken.''
